Meet the Team

Stephen is co owner of Quayside Wedding Crechers and has a large range of experience in working with children of all ages. As an Outdoor Educational Instructor, Stephen was responsible for overseeing and facilitating activities such as canoeing, kayaking, rock climbing and hiking up mountains! As well as helping to provide childcare and entertainment at our weddings and events, Stephen also takes care of security and risk assessments for quayside wedding crèchers, and ensures a safe and secure environment for all of the children that we care for.  Stephen holds  current first aid and DBS certificates.

Leanne is a mother of 3, with a range of experience with children ranging from babies to teens and has been working in nurseries as a senior practitioner for the last 7years. She is also an assistant for a children’s arts and crafts party company. Leanne is qualified in paediatric first aid, sign language, challenging behaviour and safeguarding, also having experience in Montessori.
Leanne enjoys being creative with children and watching their imaginations run wild.

Eleanor is a mother of two who has a long history of entertaining children. She has a degree in Drama and went on to tour with a production of the family-favourite, The Borrowers. She also was part of the Entertainments team at a well-known national tourist attraction. Nowadays, she’s a busy self-employed copywriter and designer, who also supports the work of her family with foster care

Laurie is mother of one and is our professional Face painter. With a foundation degree in art and 13 years experience in childcare and childrens entertainment. Laurie has redefined facepainting and has a unique and imaginative flair that turns every face into a work of art. There is no request too extravagant or unusual and is guaranteed to please.
Laurie is also currently studying for a degree in environmental sciences.

Hannah started her career in childcare working as a teaching assistant in the Early Years Foundation Stage. She has since become a nanny with 14 years experience. Hannah currently holds a Level 3 CACHE qualification as well as numerous other training courses gained over the years covering Inclusion, Health and Safety and Learning through Play.

As a nanny Hannah loves seeing children learn through providing fun activities in a safe and secure environment. In her spare time she loves a bit of baking, papercraft and walking her two dogs in the forest and on the beach

Kirsty is a mum of 3 children, 18,14 & 8 and works as a deputy manager of a pre-school in Dorset. Kirsty has her paediatric first aid, safeguarding training and is currently studying towards a degree in early years education.

In her spare time, Kirsty enjoys spending time with her children, baking and reading.

Janine is a qualified Level 3 NVQ Child Care provider with 15 years experience working with young children to teenagers. She is also a Ofsted Registered Nanny working with families in and around Dorset. Janine is a Paediatric First aider, Special Educational needs trained and has Epi Pen and Diabetes training regularly.

In her spare time she enjoys swimming, cycling and seeing family and friends.

Ellena is a qualified senior nursery practitioner, who loves to teach children through the great outdoors. (any excuse to get muddy in the puddles).

Ellena is paediatric first aid trained and is working towards a Ba (Hons) in Early Years and Childhood Studies whilst working part-time and looking after young children when at the Wedding Crecherz.

Ellena enjoys; taking photo’s of her nephew and god-daughter as well as reading and making animal noises for the children during their play at the Wedding Crecherz.
