The Wedding Crècherz can provide childcare for any event including weddings, family celebrations, corporate events and parties. We can bring our Nannies and Crèches to a venue of your choice (including your home), and after having performed a detailed risk assessment, we will create a safe and fantastic crèche in our designated spot.
Our Crèches are all completely bespoke, but here are some examples of the types of services we can offer.
Full Crèche Service
A fully stocked crèche containing age appropriate toys, games and activities, as well as feeding, hygiene and sleeping areas and equipment.
Meals can be supervised, either in the main event area or in the separate crèche room. Outside activities can also be organised, weather permitting.
A ‘crèche on the side’
This crèche can be set up in the same room as the main function/event. The parents are present and therefore retain full legal responsibility for their children. Like the Full Crèche Service, age appropriate toys, games and activities are provided. This service helps to include children more fully in the event while providing some childcare for guests. Parents can see their children at all times, which may help them to feel more at ease while they relax and enjoy your day.
A night time Crèche Service
This crèche is usually provided as an add on to our other services to allow parents to enjoy the evening reception past their children’s bed time. This crèche is also perfect for evening events such as parties and corporate functions. We provide cots, comfy mats, sleeping bags, ever lasting story time, films and quiet activities for our more restless guests.
A wedding Nanny
For those simply looking for on-site childcare for one child, we can send a fully qualified and uniformed nanny, who will care for your child alongside you or in the background, during the whole day or just the evening. All of our nannies are trained in paediatric first aid, and have at least a level 3 in childcare. Your nanny will arrive with a small selection of toys and activities to help keep your child feeling content.
Perfect for those who simply require a well-stocked retreat for the children to head to when they would like to play and relax. The wedding crèchers will set up a fantastically stocked play area before your little guests arrive and will then simply pack it up and take it away the following day.
This is an incredibly flexible crèche package, that can be built around your children’s needs and interest.
We can bring:
- Indoor toys and activities including games, role-play areas, ball pits, tents and much more.
- Outdoor play equipment large and small including space hoppers, giant board games, ride along toys and parachutes.
- Art and craft packs
- Room dividers
- Cinema corner
- Changing equipment
- Nursing area
- Sleeping equipment including beds, travel cots, cribs blankets, pillows, baby monitors.
- Wash bags (to take home) toothbrushes, toothpaste, wipes and fluffy socks.
We really can bring anything that you might need to keep your little ones happy throughout the day and night, but if you can think of something that is not on this list, please do not hesitate to ask for it, we are sure we can make it happen for you.
These have proven to be a real winner during the wedding breakfast and speeches, and even during that quiet time between the wedding breakfast and the disco. We can create stunningly bespoke activity packs for each individual young guest at your wedding or event. The packs can be as simple or elaborate as you like. All we will ask is the child’s name, age and a list of his or her interests.
- Packs can include things like:
- Art and craft activities
- Something to make and give to the happy couple
- Wedding scrapbooks complete with tasks, challenges and disposable cameras
- Activity books
- A small gift or keepsake
Activity packs are supplied as a box or tote bag, and are labeled with the child’s name, and the date of the wedding.
Before the event
The bit before the wedding is very exciting, but can also be tense and stressful for children. We are her to look after the smaller wedding guests while all the grown ups are busy getting ready. Making sure to keep them clean, occupied, calm and fed, so that they are refreshed and ready for the main event.
